Friends of Radnor Gardens and members of REA were honored to participate in the planting of a new Monkey Puzzle Tree in Radnor Gardens. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Richmond and Wandsworth Parks and Open Spaces officers who facilitated this planting.

We are currently in discussions with Richmond’s Parks & Opens Spaces team to locate a suitable replacement for the Catalpa speciosa tree. Given its historical significance to the site and its ability to thrive in wet conditions, the Catalpa speciosa is being considered. The previous Catalpa tree was dearly cherished and its replacement would be warmly received.

The planting of the new tree will be coordinated during the next planting season, coinciding with the remembrance ceremony.
